Radio Frequency Identification Tags


Another research area involving wireless data transmission is radio frequency identification (RFID). The technology involves tiny radio transmitters that can be embedded in paper-based products or printed on them directly. On April 2, 2007, Parelec Inc. of Rocky Hill, N.J. announced in a press release that it has developed a RFID,in partnership with TAGSYS USA, that can be printed onto corrugated packaging.
